NO ULTIMATUM GIVEN TO COACH DUNCAN

Management has denied widely circulated media reports that Coach David Duncan has
been given an ultimatum to win Kotoko’s next three matches or face the sack.
Speculation was rife late Monday afternoon that, the club has asked the coach to ensure victories in the matches against Hasaacas, Aduana Stars and Liberty or be fired.
But in a reaction to that, Communications Manager, Kwaku Ahenkorah told Asantekotokosc.com that, no such directive has been handed to Coach Duncan.
“Nothing like that has been said to the coach. He hasn’t been given any ultimatum” said the club spokesman. “There’s no truth in that. Let it be known that management hasn’t given a directive of that nature to the coach” Ahenkorah added.
Kotoko are yet to win a game in four outings since the league started.
They have lost and drawn two twice.
On Monday afternoon, a meeting attended by the Board of Directors, management, coaches and players was convened to find an end to the club’s unimpressive run.
