Asante Kotoko technical boss Zdravsko Lugarusic will look to put smiles on the faces numerous aggrieved Asante Kotoko fans and supporters as the only moment he gets happy, is when the fans are happy because of his care for the people who love the club.
The under pressure manager has been subjected to heavy criticism following his team’s inconsistent form in this seasons Premier League campaign having secured five (5) points in their last five games.
As a show of their frustration, a section of Asante Kotoko fans stormed the Adarko Jachie Training Centre on Thursday (April 6th 2017) evening and drove away the coach from the training grounds and prevented the Croatian trainer to train the first team squad.
However, the disturbed fans later listened to the management of clubs order, to allow the coach to do his ascribed business with the fans staying behind to monitor training proceedings as a gesture of their calmness on the manager.
“I have heard your concerns and will deliver it to the Executive Board Chairman when he arrive from his trip” said Operations Manager of the Club Ernest Owusu Ansah (P-Jay) .
Lugarusic on his part delivered no word to the peeved fans before, during and after the training because he’s in to achieve better results for the club and the fans having been with the club who had no Premier League trophy for two seasons and the only time he gets happy is when the fans are happy, he said this weeks ago.
Asante Kotoko’s next match will be against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.
