BABA MAHAMA

Asante Kotoko will be hoping to pull off the seemingly difficult task when they welcome Great Olympics to the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday looking to avenge the 2-0 away defeat they suffered at the Accra Stadium.

ASANTE KOTOKO

The Porcupines were brazenly outclassed at the Accra Stadium and will need to put in one of its recent  performance if they are to repair the damage done in Accra.

Another season, the Porcupines started well having gone unbeaten before the defeat to Hearts, the Porcupines never won a Premier League game till match day 16, drawing 4 at home and losing 4 on the road. The Porcupines are in a situation where they need to put the smiles back on the faces of the fans having recorded 4 successive draws at home.

The last time the Porcupines won a game at home, came against WAFA on March 15th. A header from winger, Frank Sarfo Gyamfi did the magic for  Asante Kotoko.

The appointment of Steve Polack looked to have revitalized the spirit and morale of the Porcupines, and for the first time in many games, the magic of Polack ended the Reds 8 games winless run. Asante Kotoko stormed the Tema Stadium, when Baba Mahama`s curling shot put the city of Tema into silent mood.

All registered players are available for selection with exception right back Attah Kusi who`s still in his recovering process .
